| Under Construction Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Dublin Posts: 47 Rep Power: ![]() | If you just want to gain strengh just use low reps about 6, but if you want muscle as well you might try this warm up as per normal with ten or twelve reps on a light weight for two sets then start to add weight make your next set for 8 reps then 6 then 4 then 3 and then finish with 8/10 reps This has always worked for me but it takes time to notice the difference so you need to do it for a few weeks and make sure you have a good spotter for your heavy sets ![]() |
