My problem is I would like to change it up and split up each bodypart now and hit them harder, but having a back, chest, leg, shoulders day is 4 workout days in a week. I would like to keep it to 3 days. I had this idea of having a chest/tris day, and put romanian deadlifts in there at the beginning or end, I dont know yet. Then shoulders day with calves at the beginning or end of workout. And on friday do back with biceps, and throw squats in there somewhere. Again, I am no bodybuilder, I am an ectomorph, just want to make progress everytime I workout in getting a little bit stronger. This workout wouldnt be great for legs, but I hate doing legs and I feel my full body workout has not increased my leg strength too much. I figured this new workout would atleast maintain my leg strength. So my question is, would you guys give a nod to this workout? If my idea is absurd, any ideas on a 3 days a week workout would be appreciated. ______________________ I overdosed this time on pure adrenaline. |

You mention that you're not a bodybuilder and you want to get " a little bit stronger". I feel your goal(s) need to be a bit more specific. Post your goals and you will get better advice In general, there's nothing wrong with a three day workout. It could be split: Day One: Legs & Delts Day Two: Chest & Tris Day Three: Back & Bis You'd have to train pretty intensely each session. One other thing, are you considering dropping legs from your programme. Not a good idea, imo |
