Default arms and chest

I just want to work my arms and chest as my legs etc.....

How long do i need to leave it before my arms and chest repair and can be worked again??

would it be ok to work my arms every other day or is that too much?? I dont want to overwork them, just want to know how long i should leave them before working them again to make a difference?

cheers.

Aim to train each bodypart once per week.

Don't train arms more than once per week, as it will on the most part me overtraining.

This especially applies if you have just started working out.

Some people may disagree, but I think high intensity, low volume training is the best for gaining mass.

I agree, once a week is sufficient. They get a lot of indirect work from working the back, chest and shoulders.

in my opinion, no, and this is the classic problem with beginners, ESPECIALLY if you aren't following a strict bodybuilding diet...

Nick's right. So many beginners think that the more the better, and end up overtraining and not growing.
Aim for max 12 sets made up of 3 different exercises. This when done after your back, will be enough for that week. check out some of the diets in the other sections to get an idea of what you need to be eating.

as in 4 sets on 3 different exercises, totalling 12.

he means that arms get worked a lot in back exercises, so the above 12 sets plus all the back work will suffice for your arms.
