| Under Construction Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Northampton Posts: 11 Rep Power: ![]() | Hi, I am currently looking for some advice about my training routine... I workout at home using my bench, dumbells, butterfly etc.... I want to build my chest, arms and shoulders aswell as lose excess weight around my belly and lose my developing love handles... I currently weigh 13.5 stone... Monday - arms, dumbells 10kg - 10 reps, 10 sets each arm. Tuesday - chest, benchpress 50kg - 8 reps, 8 sets. wednesday - arms, dumbells 10kg - 10 reps, 10 sets each arm. Thursday - shoulders, barbell (above my head) 20kg - 10 reps, 8 sets. Friday, Saturday, Sunday - Nothing. I feel my muscles being worked well but after a couple of months doing this i dont really see much difference..... I eat a lot of pasta, potatoes, tuna, eggs etc and try to cut down on the junk..... after working my arms for a while, i struggle to do 1 rep, my arm gives up trying to pick it up!! is there anything different i can do to build my arms up more effectively?? maybe more strain on them? any advice would be great! thanks!
