As far as I know, Croatia is not part of the EU. I think they're in negotiations about it at the moment. If you're not part of the EU then it's going to be difficult for you to get a work permit. You could get a visitors entry and then try and find work but you would have to find someone who would employ you illegally i.e not paying tax etc. Also there's the problem of how long you'd be able to stay. If you just want to come for a couple of weeks then that shouldn't be a problem.

When I worked in Poland before they joined the EU, I saw many Polish people being being turned back at Dover. Mainly because they hadn't got return tickets or were suspected that they were looking to stay permanently UK.

I'm not an expert on this subject so the best thing to do would be to possibly contact the British Embassy in Croatia who would tell you the requierments and regulations.

Hope things work out for you.

Oh I forgot. If you're coming over on "holiday" then the customs might check to see that you have enough money to supprt yourself for the period you're staying.
It's also a very good idea to have a hotel booked or a friends address etc.

Good luck.

Yeah cash in hand mate!

Who pays by ****ing card for personal training sessions!!

Walking till with scanner. -_-'

Just be careful when going back to croatia with money if you got anything over 2 grand or something you gotta declare and they might ask questions etc...

so send a cheque of some sort or do the bank transfer thing to avoid big BIG bIg charges!!
