Default your biggest training mistake?

mine........copying the routines of the professionals (not the weight , obviously) from Flex magazine and expecting to grow! Did this for about 7 months until people told me that I was looking skinny!!

overtraining, i still find it hard not to do. As a amateur i think doing as much as i can is the way forward, when actually less is more to a certain extent..... i was doing loads, giving the whole body a workout in the space of an hour and half, no wonder there was no/little gains being made...

Not paying enough concern to my diet. That has taken years to correct (and i'm still not quite there yet).

not knowing about diet... always always stuck to a 'diet' since i was about 13 but with no luck. I wish i'd got on the net and found forums such as this one and fully immersed myself in the bodybuilding culture 5 years earlier and i wonder where i'd be today !!!

Wasting all my limited money as a teenager on insanely priced new miracle “natural” supplements that had nothing but inert substances in them…..

Dibencozide, Frac, Cybergenics 60 day system, colostrum… the list goes on!
ops:

Having said that, I am sure most of us have done this at one time or another, ah what it is like to be a dreamer (if an unrealistic one at that! )

I have many but I don't look at them as mistakes more of a learning curve. If I hadn't made the mistakes I have I wouldn't be where I am.
