Hi All

Asyou know i am new to this. I do my abs 3 times week only 2 sets 20 with bit wieght on machine for resistance. How can i get to show my muscle around the abs i do the bike cardio 15mins 3 times a week.

Any replies greatly apreciated as i can feel my abs but bit of layer in front also 49 years young lol

You need to get your diet and cardio in order mate if you want to see your abs. If you have a layer of body fat then no amount of crunches will get rid of that. Try doing an extra 15 minutes of cardio per session on a different piece of kit. Stick to training your abs 3 times a week but mix up the exercises so your body does not get use to same old thing.

ab work is great to build strong abs (which are important)...but the guest is right...the only way to see the abs is to cut off the layer of fat hiding them...without knowing any more about you I would say bump your cardio up to 45 minutes at least three times a week and run/bike/whatever at 65% of you max heart rate...and check your diet also cuz all the cardio in the world wont help if your diet sucks...
