| Making Progress | just about to buy a bench for a home gym in a garage,does anyone have a preference to a smiths type machine or power cage and free weights,only room for one or the other and wondered what the pros and cons are of each and if just 1,which one,cheers ______________________ im forever blowing bubbles pretty bubbles in the air they fly so high,nearly reach the sky then like my dreams they fade and die |

| Making Progress | cheers for the answers,mate green st was dogshit and an embarrassment to ****neys everywhere ! yanks never could talk proper and never will lol soppy little kids running round shouting cages ive been looking at are around 200-250 smiths machines upwards of 400 decent ones dont smiths machines limit your movement and kind of balance the weight for you,if anyone could recommend a good cage id appreciate it,all the best lads ______________________ im forever blowing bubbles pretty bubbles in the air they fly so high,nearly reach the sky then like my dreams they fade and die |

When you do bench press with your standard olypmic bar you are doing a slightly more natural movement and you are also working the back of your shoulders. So its more beneficial in the respect. And its harder. Also I have noticed smitheys promote bad posture. |
