Default Cardio after a workout , bad ?

After a hard weights workout i like to go for a 20 HIIT run , ie Lots of short sprints inbetween jogging

Before i go on this i take some creatine ethyl ester (CEE) and a scoop of whey so i dont go into a catabolic state, and run straight after

Am i making my weights workout useless by going catabolic and wasting away during my run?

Because im woundering whether i should start just having "cardio days" instead of doing it everytime i do weights (i also do it on off days ).

By the way my aims are to just slowly put on a little muscle and increase strength whilst maintaining current fat levels, how a boxer would train i suppose ,nothing extreme so i wouldn't call it bulking , i take in some carbs and protein an hour before my workout.

i also take a Ephedrine caffeine asprin stack before my workout.

Im currently 12 stone 2 , would like to be 12 and a half or a little under 13.

Thanks everyone =]

If you're not cutting, it sounds fine as long as you are having the whey in between. I do that too, but not the HIIT (induces catabolism if cutting apparently).
