Except for 10 mins warmup (which i dont really consider CV work) I never put CV stuff in the same workout. I never tried to cut before as im a skinny ****er as it is. Thats why I took up BBing, to get bigger.

when it is time for me to cut and show off everything in a year or two I will do CV everyday before breakfast and then go on the train with wieghts on the scheduled days.

Whats your goal? Cut or Bulk?

edit: 'humper' -

weights 1st to use the glycogen stored, important for energy and STRENGTH/ENDURANCE then cardio to better use the carb depletion window.

Think the glycogen depletion theory works better in the morning so I'd do cardio then and weights later in the day if you can.

If you have to mix the two, go weights first cardio second but unless your either circuit training or using very low rest times in your workout I doubt you seriously deplete your glycogen. I just wouldnt mix the two one being anabolic the other catabolic.

he's absolutely right...and that is why cardio is recommended to be done in the morning on an empty stomach...

I never do cardio first thing on an empty stomach as when I used to do it I shrunk.
I do my cardio after weights when my heart rate is up so i can start burning fat right away. I do very little cardio when not dieting, other than in the bedroom

Cardio is apparently best done on non-weights days but I do mine after my weights (whey in water first though). Apparently cardio immediately before weights (except 5 mins for warm up) depletes glycogen something cruel and can mean that the weights actually have a catabolic effect.
