I had good results using a three day routine, not many work sets either.

I think most natural (probably many on roids too) do far too many sets and overtrain.

I do 9 work sets for back, chest and shoulders, only 4 for triceps and biceps.

Do about 9 for legs.

Remember, less is more sometimes in bodybuilding!
totally agree with the above

i find it gives plenty of recovery and i always feel fresh when i go to the gym

i used to train 5 on 2 off but then read about something called the variable split system. basically the idea is not every muscle recovers at the same speed so you train muscles that recover faster more often.

this graph shows how how work out stimulus breaks down muscle fibre. there is then a reduced capacity followed by recovery and overcompensation. if you can then train again while in overcompensation then obviously the gains are gonna be greater. here is what my regime looks like

its abit hard to see the details but basically bi's and tri's and shoulders get trained every workout, chest alternate workouts with traps and back and legs get hit once a week.its good fun cause every1 likes working there arms and you get to do it all the time.i have been doing this 8 week programme for 6 weeks so far, the first 4 is was on superdrol.i have put on 7 pounds using this method but dont really know how much of this is down to the superdrol or the new training regine. i havent lost any of the gains though and have been doing pct for two weeks now so am very pleased. would like to hear what you think about this method or if you fancy giving it a go pm me and will send you the details.
