I personally think that by not wrapping your thumb around the bar, but instead putting it under the bar whilst maintaining usual form of your wrist helps me to push up solely with my chest. This also works for many other exercises such as pullups by not wrapping your thumb round the bar means forearm work is taken away, also the same for upright rows and bent over rows lats get worked sooooo much more....your opinions??

i can pretty much do that by consrtrantion, plus it does help build strenth by havein the thumb wrapped over bar,it just takes practice to controll which muscles you allow to do the work, well it works for meand feels more natual too
