Default Lower back before legs

If i am training my back on wedensday will it be suitable to train legs on the friday...The reason why i ask is becasue my lower back will be worked in my back workout and hence this may have an effect on my leg workout what do you think..

I usually do squats and deadlifts in the same work out. The DL's kill the lower back and are harsh on the legs too so i wouldnt do them with back. Im content that i only need one excercise for lower back. When i train back i tend to focus on the lats and the romboids leaving the lower back to the deadlifts.

I couldnt do DLs and squats on the same day, they'd have to carry me out the gym on a stretcher.

I do CDLs on back day and squats on leg day with at least 2 days rest in between, both deadlifts and squats are great exercises but they kill your body like no other and take a long time to recover from.

I would make sure you have a few days between your back and leg WOs personally.

Im with Stu21Ldn, how you lot to dl's and squats on same day is amazing! How you walk the next day is beyond me...

For recovery etc... I find this to be great

Wed = Legs/Abs/Calf
Fri = Chest/Bi's/Abs/Calf
Sat = Back/Tri's/Abs
Sun = Shoulders/Abs/Calf

Gives my back plenty of time to heal up for when I do legs which usually involves lots of squatting...

I didn't say I could walk afterwards

Or sit on the toilet...

Or put my own socks on...

Or get into/out of a car...

Or walk up/down stairs...

Or pick my nose...oh wait, no I can still do that...

Actually i should do them in different workouts :shock:

Might be worth an investment in chair stair lift.

I do legs and lower back together. I figure if i'm going to disable myself, I may as well do it properly. Not being able to walk and not being able to bend over is quite the combo.
