The DL's kill the lower back and are harsh on the legs too so i wouldnt do them with back. Im content that i only need one excercise for lower back. When i train back i tend to focus on the lats and the romboids leaving the lower back to the deadlifts. Fierce |

| I couldnt do DLs and squats on the same day, they'd have to carry me out the gym on a stretcher. I do CDLs on back day and squats on leg day with at least 2 days rest in between, both deadlifts and squats are great exercises but they kill your body like no other and take a long time to recover from. I would make sure you have a few days between your back and leg WOs personally. | |

For recovery etc... I find this to be great Wed = Legs/Abs/Calf Fri = Chest/Bi's/Abs/Calf Sat = Back/Tri's/Abs Sun = Shoulders/Abs/Calf Gives my back plenty of time to heal up for when I do legs which usually involves lots of squatting... |
