If your not having protein in the middle of the night (like i do) then i think you should really try and at least get some protein in asap as soon as u wake up, no more than 8 hours.... i personally dont like leaving more than 5. Catabolism isn't really a problem with me and never has been so I'm not too concerned with my nitrogen balance. Sometimes You just gotta sleep!
