| Under Construction Join Date: Sep 2005 Posts: 13 Rep Power: ![]() | I weigh about 185, and as far as I can remember, my muscles have never really been totally rock hard. I eat at least 180 grams of protein a day and work out about 3 times a week. Is there something I might be missing that is affecting this? Any suggestions? Thanks |

| Under Construction Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Yorkshire Posts: 95 Rep Power: ![]() | You cant really "harden" a muscle, the muscle is always the same firmness but depending on bodyfat levels will feel "softer" due to the layer of fat above it. All you can really do is lose bodyfat and your muscles will feel much harder due to less fat above them. |
