Default five days a week

would you consider training 5 days a week too much?

Monday Chest, Abs
Tuesday Back
Wednesday Legs
Thursday Biceps, Triceps
Friday Shoulders.

Used to do four days but decided to train Biceps and triceps on another day. This way i can really work them hard.

If you are only doing 1 body part on that day I dont consider it as over training, but you could save time and do 2 part on 1 day.

If you did something like:

Day 1
Chest/Triceps
Day 2
Legs/Shoulders
Day 3
Back/Biceps

Your biceps wont really be tired from working your back, so you can still train them hard.

Peace

I do 4 days a week like this.

Day 1. Biceps / Triceps / Abs

Day 2. Back / Chest

Day 3. Shoulders / Legs / Abs

Day 4. 30 minutes of abs.

Nidge, I thought your abs needed to rest just like any other muscle after a workout.

I do 5 days a week, but i have now started to take a week where i have a day off. As long as you get enough sleep and food you will be ok.

five days is fine, as long as you break up the overlapping body parts and dont do TOO many sets/reps of each...here's mine...
Monday: Chest
Tuesady:Bi's
Wednesday: Tris
Thursday: Back
Friday: Shoulders
