Default Something mad has happened

Ok guys

Last week, as a personal best i managed 1 rep of 122.5.

today on my chest day, with a SKINNY 10 stone spotter who works at the gym and can spot properly, i managed 3 quick reps of 130.

After making a couple of celebration calls to my mates (i'm sad...), i aimed even higher, 140 ! (so 3 big 20s each side no bolts).

And i dunno how i did it, but somehow I managed 3 medium paced reps. I could have done more but the spotter (and coz he works for the gym I can't push it with him) stopped me and said no more weight.

I told the spotter afterwards, you must have helped me! but he swears that he didn't touch the bar until the 3rd rep.

How the **** is it possible for me to lift 140kgs unsupported for 2 reps??

I was wearing a belt tightly supporting my back, perhaps that gave me a boost, I wasn't on an ECA or any thermogenic booster (although my normal 3 spoonfuls of coffee before gym).

The only change was that i trained in the morning, when usually i train in the evening. perhaps i'm alwayus a bit tired out from working and can't push as heavy !

Anyway, i'm in a bit of shock here and dont really believe that I lifted it. I got 2 witnesses tho so i can prove to my friends i did it ! lol

Nick

well done mate great feeling aint it?

i normally train after work so when i was between contracts i added 20kg straight away and my gains went up much faster from there. when i went back to work i kept lifting the same but the increase slowed down

good effort nick. So would you say that the superdrol cycle is doing the job then? might have to get me some of that! Any side effects from the cycle so far?

sitries

gained 1 stone in less than 3 weeks, put 10 - 20 % on all lifts, have gained good size and not too much water weight = a good product and its not over yet !

Side effects negligible. Increased heat / water consumption, the odd headache, but absolutely side - effect negative pretty much !

good lifting nick, strong basterd lol

i think lifting early in the day is the reason why you were stronger.

ive trained in the day for the last 2 or more years

but

i,ve recently starting training back with my old gym partner at about 5pm / 3 day split/and have lost loads off lifts already.

are you going to cut after the drol, or carry on bulking? you,ll be benching 160kg+ if you keep bulking.

i'm not sure steve, part of me says cut all the fat i have off and get a good lean base to bulk up with again until maybe easter and cut for the summer, but the other part of me says **** that and just keep bulking it up, make my lifts increase and then do a proper like 10 - 14 week cut for next summer and get a really low BF

If i could get to about 16 stone by next easter and then cut to a low BF at about 14 stone, i think it would look good.

its really just balancing the desire to look ripped against wanting to look like the incredible hulk

lol

Yep, reason being is that between 7am to 8am the body's testosterone level is at it's peak, for every hour after 8am the level declines, so by the evening you can figure that it's the worst time to train.
