| Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: florida usa Posts: 642 Rep Power: ![]() | some of the best excercises ive ever done i stumbled across someone else doing, the types of things that they sort of make up themselves. anybody have any of these exercises that they do that you have never seen others do? or any that you think havent been done in decades? lets hear it for the improv lifts. ______________________ that which does not kill me only serves to make me stronger. |

| Under Construction Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: birmingham Posts: 47 Rep Power: ![]() | i saw a picture of a wrestler once who was doing a bench press type movement whilst performing a back bridge. he'd pulled the weight over from behind his head and it was a fairly heavy weight aswell. good if you want a neck like a tree trunk. ps dont try this at home pps i do this sometimes with a olympic bar (no weights on it though) |

| Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: florida usa Posts: 642 Rep Power: ![]() | sounds wierd, i sometimes flip my grip and do flat bench on a smith machine, it feels pretty good for chest and is fairly challenging as you cant lift nearly as heavy with an underhand grip in that position. ______________________ that which does not kill me only serves to make me stronger. |

| Under Construction Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: birmingham Posts: 47 Rep Power: ![]() | yeah its a specialist exersise not for bodybuilders. its sport specific for wrestling. there are loads of other exersises that athletes perform that relate only to there sport. eg the use of medicine balls and plyometrics etc. |
