| Making Progress | I wouldn't overly worry about it just yet. Even a mild muscle spasam can cause substantial pain if it inflames and presses on a sensory nerve. Can spook you a bit and can sometimes appear to be quite bad. The whole arm can go numb if not left but it is all reversible in time, all others things being equal. Believe or not a lot of people can go through their whole life with herniated ('slipped') disks and never even feel a thing. I actually prefer an osteopath rather than a chiropractoras as in my experience, they also preform the spinal manipulation (although a different form of it) coupled with acupuncture, whereas most chiropractors just do the manipulation.
