Default Loosing motivation for first time and dont know why?

Ive been doing a 3 day workout for 5 months now, when can i consider doing a 5 day workout, as i prefer training for just 30-40 mins a night rather than over 1 hour. The 3 day workout takes a long time as ive got to work all muscle group in the same session.
Progress is more important to me than time though so should i stick to a 3 day workout or can i get away with doing a 5 day split. In seek of urgent advice as im loosing motivation theese last couple of weeks and i feel its because the training lasts so long, i loose focus after 30 mins.Ive only been like this recently.

Sounds 2 me like youve gone stale. i dont kno wot to advise on training 3 days or 5 days, really depends on wot YOU want 2 do. Id train all day every day if i could and it was productive.

losing focus after just 30mins sounds almost as if your bored. personnly id either take a small break or make a change in your training. hope this helps, i may be barking up the wrong tree.

Cheers vineger i think your right i am bored of training now, i enjoy doing barbell rows as ive only recently added them to my training so its interesting to see how i respond, but bench press and barbell curls etc just seem boring now as ive been using the same exercisses for 5 months and i feel i need a different routine to spice it up a bit, at the mo im just plodding along. :?

well thats half the battle won mate. if u kno u gettin bored and not enjoying or responding well to your training at the moment you kno u gotta change summat. dont be affraid of changing everything round once in a while. change your short term goals. Why dont u post your training regime up? im sure you'll get loads of help on wot u could change 2 spice things up abit. Its a shit sport wen uve not got the fire in the belly!!!

Keep ur chin up, it usually only takes 1 gud session 2 turn it all around.

Why not do a 4 day split. I have been doing 4 days for about a year or so.

If you are geting bored you need to mix it up a bit to feel you are geting something new from your workouts. Try doing 15-20 rep sets for 2-3 weeks and you will be begging to get back to lower reps.

Really you just need change.

I dont suppose i could have a look at your 4 day split could i zx9rjas, its lazy of me just to use other peoples routines as i know how much work it is to find a routine that works, but it would be appriciated bud as i agree i need to change things.I train at home, but i DO have an incline/decline bench with pulldowns, leg extensions, butterflies etc, so there shouldnt be to many exercisses you do that i cant do at home.
ps heres my training ive been doing for 5 months(3 days a week)

Squats
bench press
upright rows
pulldowns
barbell curls
tri extensions

Thanks
