Default who wraps when they squat?

i only wrap up on the last set

I never use wraps or a belt for squats. Same for deadlifts. I prefer going bareback LOL.

i wrap up on any squats above 85%. no belt tho. I wrap up on cleans at about 85% also. i use elastic pull up knee wraps not the long belt type u wrap around.

yeah wrapping is wise, i,m starting to suffer with my right knee lately not a good sign.

i dont use wraps straps or belts for any exersise. a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.

i ware gloves and a belt for squats and deadlifts i also will wrap my knees up now for squats to fully support my knees.

i did 175kg 5x3's last nite on back squats which is a pb. if i did that without wraps i wunt be squatting again anytime soon.

chains n links n other quotes sound fine but they dont stop my knee caps splatting against the wall!!

yes ok point taken and no i cant squat 200 kg for reps steve.
its just i've read that buy using wraps you dont strengthen the tendons in the knees whereby the muscles become alot stronger in relation to the joints which can lead to injury.makes sense to me.
i was'nt trying to sound like a macho gungho type im sorry if i came across that way.

no problem saj, no it didnt mean to come out nasty, i just couldnt imagine anyone squatting loads without the gear on.

you are probably right in what you say.
