| Banned Making Progress | you should do the cheats at the end of every set once you can no longer lift the weight even by leaning back then you have reach positive failiure if you stop just when it starts to get tough you aint pushing your muscle as hard as possible so you wont stimulate maximum growth. |

| Making Progress | maybe lighter weights may help, or heavy one week and light another, this would shock your biceps and may help with the locking out. the locking out could be u are working the joint and not the actual bicep, this is typical problem especially when there is a small gap out the bottom of the bicep between the joint ______________________ more than ya average joe |

| Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: florida usa Posts: 642 Rep Power: ![]() | arnold said whatever it takes to get the weight up. look at his arms. on ehting i found effective since i like to do my curls thru the full range, ie. all the way down till my arms are straight, when i cant get past the "sticking point" (i think we just coined a phrase gentlemen) instead of leaning back which can cause back injury, lean forward a little to get the weight started and then use momentum to help. if it failure youre going for this should help. just mho. ______________________ that which does not kill me only serves to make me stronger. |
