Default Shoulder Pains

Just getting a bit worried because I'm getting little nagging pains in my left shoulder/trap, started hurting a day or so after my last workout, (Chest & Triceps) Its not allways there just when i do certain movements?

Any ideas, should take some time off training?

Are there any ideas on stretches you can do for them, I currently don't do any?

i had this a few weeks ago,

was doing dumbells presses that done it for me,

what i did was take 2 anadin 3 x a day.

and it solved it, it was all gone about 3 days later.

i do stretch when i do shoulders, maybe my injury was just a one off.

a stretch i do.

i sort of like swing my arm right up and over, about 10 times on each arm. forwards and backwards if that makes any sense

i try to avoid using pain killers in order to train, pain is the bodys way of telling you you are injuring yourself masking it and continuing will generally only make things worse i usually try changeing exercise for a bit to one that works the muscle from a different angle or take a week or to off that bodypart doctors can help too !

Cheers for the replys, Im taking a week or so off training my upper body, then going to slowly ease into things, I think I took it to fast, not really training to heavy training!! Also dropping dips I allways get pains in my shoulders whilst doing them :?

Got some stretches as well, so hopefully it'll be ok and I can get back on with bulking for the summer!

take special care with any shoulder exercises when you start up training again.

I've damaged my rotator cuff before doing side lat raises. Took ages to sort out.

Not suggesting it's that, could be anything. But just be especially careful with those shoulders
