(apart from help me lose a bit of hard earned muscle and add 1% of BF to me in just 1 week!!!) very dissapointed with it, i'm back to my 4-day split and have to keep the diet clean and do some extra cardio this week to make up for the fat gains from that stupid HIT bullshit! its so ****ed up, back to my chest workout today and I way out of it, workout was shit, HIT has ****ed me right up, avoid! peace |

I believe it depends on your genetics as some have had great success with it. Dorian, Mike Mentzer himself, Aaron Baker and Skip LaCour have all been quite pleased with the results. However, the vast majority of trainees get little out of it. When I tried it I did increase my maximum strength somewhat, but at the cost of 3 nagging injuries which ultimately held back my progress. Hey, at least you gave it a go and now you know it's useless for you. In a couple of weeks you'll be back in the swing of things and making progress GTF ______________________ You don't win friends with salad |

I think the extra rest on the HIT week must have done me good so maybe it is useful for something, but if i'm gonna have a rest week i'll have a rest week, IMO HIT as a muscle building program is very flawed! |
