| Join Date: Dec 2003 Posts: 0 Rep Power: ![]() | very true swole ^ if you want to add muscle you must work on your strength - for this i'd say go heavy 3-6reps, every now and again go for your 1 rep max, always use proper form and focus on controlling the negative part of the movement high reps won't build muscle, i'd say 8-10 reps is my limit unless i'm having a light/recovery week |

I meant that by doing sets of less weight and more reps will increase heart rate and in total burn energy and fat. Not at the exact spot, my bad. I know some circut training or doing sets of high reps with little or no rest between sets is a great fat burning workout.
