Much better to split the time up by 4-8 times and work at a higher intensity. Try 15-20 minutes of of sprint training 3 times per week. 4 minutes jog, then sprint for 15-20 seconds jog for 45-40 seconds (repeat 8-12 times) then slow jog for a further 4 minutes. This would get the heart working faster, burn alot of calories and give you some power/mass to the legs (and upper body). I have used this before and I lose bodyfat easier, retain more mass and get gains on my legs. This lets the body know that when it is getting good food it puts it to use, but eben on your cheating make sure you get your amount of protein. One thing is certain, going mad for it on the cardio is not a good idea. If you get a craving think to yourself, what is more important too much junk food+fat gain or good nutrition and good body/strength. You will find out what matters more to you. Ok, i realise this was nuts so i am stopping that now. I have changed my diet and upped my protein/meat intake so i don't really crave pizza's or KFC. The only things i crave now and then is stuff with no use like ice-cream and cakes and stuff. If i tell myself NEVER AGAIN, i'll go nuts. Dammint, i guess i just need to focus on my goals, but what can help and are there any things that are not junky but taste sweet so i can pretend i am cheating. The only thing i use at the mo is sugar free jelly. |

Dont say to yourself "never again" as that will make you want it more as we are build to break rules. If you want to cheat do it but dont go mad and definately dont make yourself pay for it by doing extra cardio of cutting food too low. These extra calories will addd to your intake and help you gain mass, sure thay aren't great quality but its better than reducing the calories the next day and losing 2 lbs of muscle. If you wanted something sweet try maltodextrin powder, You can add it to anything and believe me it tastes really sweet but it is not a sugar, it is a starch derived carbohydrate and will give sustained energy, Best used with protein powder before a workout and straight after but really you can have it anytime you get the craving.
