I also heard that training the legs increases either testosterone or hgh levels due to a gland in the legs or something, can anyone verify this? And also, are there any other natural ways to increase testosterone in the body (by natural I mean other than steroids/prohormones.. any supplements or foods etc.) Cheers guys ______________________ Live the dream - nothing's impossible |

I think the only clean supplement that claims to effect testosterone is Tribulus. With the squats i dont know the science about any gland, but due to the strain to the whole body it is forced to grow so must have some direct impact on testosterone or GH. To keep testosterone high dont drink alcohol (easier said than done) i read some science recently and this stated that after two drinks your testosterone drops by a third and your estrogen increases rapidly. |

Also dont ignore things like nuts, olive oil and foods with plenty of omega 3 fatty acids in them, these fats have a direct effect on testosterone production. Steak is a good one for testosterone production too. Dont just worry about the testosterone though, anti estrogens are needed too. There are anti estrogens available, but oats are a great natural anti estrogen. Leg workouts are involved in testosterone production as they are a big muscle group (same as back) good heavy leg workouts are needed and play a role in upper body mass and strength gains.
