Default Painful Arm

Just wondered if anyone knew what could be causing my sore arm. About 5 days ago, my left arm felt a bit weird. Kind of a nervy pain and I thought I'd just slept on it or something. When I was training on Wed nite, I had to stop cuz my left arm from the elbow down went numb, and the following morning it was just sore. Then last night whilst triaining Biceps the numbness came back and I had a numb arm fromthe shoulder down. Again, today it is just a bit sore. My grip was also very very weak in my left hand and I could hardly hold a 15kg dumbell  If I press my thumb into the inside of my elbow (where you normally get blood taken) I can feel a tendon or something like that which is quite sore. maybe its a strained tendon, or trapped nerve? I dunno what else it could be. Any ideas?
On wednesday night the problem got worse midway thru my workout whilst doing crossovers, and last night whilst I was doing dumbell curls.
Also the pump I get is quite substantial, so I don't know if that contributes to the numb feeling. Normally when the pump subsides, the numbness fades and then I'm just left with a sore arm.
Thats about it, so if anyone else has experienced this kind of thing, I'd be pleased to hear about it!!
Thanks again,
Si

I have heard of this kind of thing. A mate i sometimes train with was having pain in his elbow and and was having problems with his grip. His left hand actually shrunk over a period, something he didnt notice until he saw a doctor. It turned out to be a traped nerve in his elbow. He had keyhole surgery to move the nerve. Everythings good now. Might not be what you have but worth a visit to the docs mate.

Hi all, Si, Doc Vinger could be spot on with that diagnosis, i would certainly get it seen to asap, the quicker you get it sorted out the better, sorry Vinger just thought i would inject a little humour into this, no offence meant mate.
