| Making Progress | Pain is an alarm signal, it basically is a warning of excess muscle fatigue. You will have problems when stress is transferred from the muscle tissue to the tendon nerve receptors. In order to avoid any damage when this occurs, the "Golgi tendon organ" activates the "One B fibre" to shut off muscle contractions altogether. It is short and sweet, the moral of this little story is quite simple. Dont train for pain the damage it can/has incurred is not worth it. Dave. |

Always seems to be something sore/sensitive. I do agree with u tho, u need to listen to your body and decide if its a warning of things to come or just a little strain/cramped muscle etc. It sounds abit sick, but i actually enjoy training in pain and leaving the gym in peices. I dont have a pain fetish tho. Only in the gym. Rest of the time im abit of a girl when it comes to pain. |
