Day 3 - Back

Chins - 3 sets
Rows - 3 sets

Day 4 - Shoulders

Shoulder Press - 3 Sets
Side Raises - 3 Sets

Day 5 - Lower Back & Traps

Deadlifts - 3 sets
Shrugs - 3 sets

Day 6 - Biceps & Triceps

Dips - 3 sets
DB Curls - 3 sets

looks solid enough benj.

My only comments are,
Maybe add uprite rows on shoulders day.

And maybe your takin it alittle easy on chest day.
U do 3 sets on all excersises except for your chest?

Also not sure about bi's n tri's on the same day, never tried it so im not saying u shouldn't. Just a new one on me thats all!

Hope its some sort of help!

If i miss a day at the gym - i tend to do bi's and tri's on the same day. Its ok - but you really have to push it to feel the benifit.

I agree with vinger - you seem to be taking it easy (or easier!) on the chest day - any reason??

Other than that looks good.

Cheers for the replys,

Ermmm...well, you think??? There's still 6 sets like most muscle groups just split up into 3 exercises, only reason is becuase I dont have a spotter its hard to puch myself to failure, so..... I just thought i'd do one set on the chest press!

I've personally never trained Bi's and Tri's on the same day! I took this routine from LA Muscle's site and modifyed it a smidge!

Good idea vinger i'll take out side rasies for the upright rows! Never liked em anyway!!

I've not decided on this yet....Any other ideas?

I wouldnt lift to failure either mate without a spotter

If no one can spot u, make the most of your session and rep out at a weight your confident with.

Better than maxin out for 1 set.

Are u bulking benj?

I go to the gym on my own as well, so no spotter either.

Its really hard to try and push to failure when you are worried about not being able to push the bar back up again

I do find that instead of pushing the last lift out i stop coz i know there is no support!

I used to train on my own, but have been training with my partner for about 8 months, and the difference I have found in my strength is UNBELEIVABLE!

Even if you go alone, could you not just ask someone to spot you on your last set? You find that there is always someone willing to help. Don't feel embarrassed either if you are not pushing the same weight as whoever you ask to spot, at the end of the day we are all there to train, regardless of strength levels.

I have trained at many gyms, and have found that even the most intimidating looking meatheads are really helpful when asked to spot.

GO FOR IT

ps, on the shoulder workout, I'd really do some rear delt work. Rear delts are really neglected by most, but the difference they make to the physique is awesome.

Cheers for the replys!

I've decided against this workout, as the costs of going to the gym 6 times a week would be stupid, anyone any other ideas looking for a 4 day split, something a bit different tho!

Thats what I was saying vingar, thats why I got the one set on the chest press machine!

Yeah I will be bulking........when I finally start dieting and going to the gym, should be next week!

I'll get some rear delt work in with the shoulders, I think they are lacking a slight bit!
