Always do larger muscle groups 1st, otherwise the smaller, assisting muscles will fail before the larger ones when doing the lifts for the larger muscles.

bump to meathead
compound exercises first. If you target your bis first you may not perform the compound exercises with perfect form and your muscles will reach failure quicker.
Bi's and back, I love the arms day, enjoy

Argh I hate leg days. I have quite big defined legs (except calves, hate my calves) but I can't stand leg days, don't know what it is.
Might just be the fact that after a leg day I end up walking like pingu  lol

Yep matt, i am returning to training tomorrow, after nearly 10 weeks off, my calves which where stubborn to begin with, have most probably packed up and left me, which means i am in some hot water when it comes to leg day.!!!!

Good luck with the return to training Dave. Let us know how your calves bear up when you get round to doing them! The first time I did my calves, I couldn't stand properly for three days! All the best with it mate.
