Default POSTURE AND EXERCISING

Hi all, here is one subject that i havent found in the site which is very important whilst training. While a good workout/training routine can help to improve your posture enormously, the thing is it is actually up to us "the individual" to keep concentrating on holding ourselves up straight. Personally it is my theory that each and every one of us must train ourselves to straighten up each time you/we think about it, and combined with what we love doing it really has to become a new habit in our daily routine. It is obvious that all back exercises are extremely beneficial where posture is concerned, but everyones constant input will really make a world of difference. One hitch is that people expect miracles overnight, if everyone chips away ar it we will all begin to notice the difference. The reason i wrote this post is through looking at other posts e.g. deadlifts and other relevant exercises, and also that everyone who uses the board obviously owns or has access to a p.c., and the one part as written above that can suffer is posture especially if we are sat in front of a screen for a period of time. All thoughts and input to this one greatly appreciated.

Dave.

Hi Dave,

I work on a computer all day, every working day. I had bad posture.

Deadlifts and crunches have corrected that.

Need to focus on form though...
