Default ARM TRAINING

CAN ANYONE HELP WITH PUTTING SIZE ON MY ARMS?

THEY ARE STUBBORN IN PUTTING ON ANY BIG SIZE,I DO 6 EXERCISES,3 SETS ON EACH AND DO 8-12 REPS.

I FEEL I AM LIFTING ENOUGH WEIGHT BUT THEY JUST SEEM SLOWER TO GAIN THAN THE REST OF MY BODY.
ANY ADVICE PLEASE?

MY TOTAL WORKOUT IS ON THE MAIN PAGE.......LEE

Like I said before I think you are doing far too many exercises for them, try using skullcrushers and close grip benchpress for your triceps and Dumbell curls and EZ bar curls on a preacher bench for biceps, i personally think these are the best exercises for them.

Also unless you putting on weight your not going to be able to put "size" onto your arms or the rest of your body.

Hope that helps

u could always try doing the negatives slower than the positives on each exercise,if you dont do this already. for size heavy sets and try lowering the amount of reps u do,

i personallly struggle with my arms abit. ive got 18inch arms but ****asll on the triceps, ive got it all on the biceps, i just cannot seem to pack size on them,

ive done dips with 100kg weight on my lap, still no joy.

what i would say is focus on both the tricep and bicep, and train them as intense as each other,or youll end up like me

18" arms - that is pretty big mate! Get your Tri's sorted and they will be huge!

How do you have your grip when you are doing dips?

All good advice, no more than 4 exercises a muscle group, 3 sets and low reps with heavy to max weight. Negatives are good once and again but not too often in my opinion.

Keep it a little varied to stimulate growth, and good diet!

Steve
Just a sugestion mate but my trainer use to get me to dip on ONE bench with my feet on the floor to produce an angle to stress the TRI's more he said and to reduce the use of the shoulders!
As I said mate just a sugestion it worked for me!

Steve,

18" arms with no triceps thats ****in massive!!!!

Im the other way round, 16" arms but mostly triceps.

My triceps really grew when i narrowed my grip on bench, as for biceps

nothin i do ever makes em ache, i can never seem to get to them.

All arm exercices get my forearms, shoulders n triceps burning with my

bloody biceps doin very little. :x

Yeah I do Dips on a bench like that Steve what I meant is how far apart are your hand. I noticed a massive difference when I started doing them with my hands touching instead of far apart.

Give it a go mate if you don't already do it that way!
