| Under Construction Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: London Posts: 5 Rep Power: ![]() | Hi all, Looking at training routines there are some people more inclined towards a full body workout per session stating that it maintains symmetrical muscle growth and provides a more demanding workout. Most of the "modern" workouts suggest its best to split your workout into body parts to prevent overtraining and better muscle growth because you're pushing them harder per workout and then letting it rest for longer. Anybody tried both types of routines and got any thoughts on it? Thanks Jav |

| Making Progress Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: England Posts: 348 Rep Power: ![]() | Splits for me from day one, goes a little like this: Monday= Bi's and back Tuesday = Legs Wednesday= rest Thursday= Chest and tri's Friday= Abs/extra cardio Saturday= Shoulders (with a hangover from time to time) Sunday= rest I chuck 3 sessions a week cardio in when im good and less when im bad. |
