Default Protein!

Right then, first post.

Been training good and proper for the past 4 months and have seen some small improvments, I'm 6'1 and around 11stone so as you can imagine I'm very much in the Peter Crouch body shape .

My diet hasn't been the greatest, work hours kind of held me back but I changed them now and got a good diet in place, so that's gonna help a lot with the body being created in the kitchen not the gym!

Supplements.

Well I started off with that shitty H&B Whey 908g when it was £10.
Then I moved onto Schwartz labs 908g, got a good deal, 4 tubs for £30 quid, but it tasted like absolute shit and wasn't too keen on buying a blender.

What I wanna ask you guys is, I have a good diet in place, for me what would the best way of supporting it?

Weight gain, creatine and all that stuff scares me! Heard a lot of stuff about kidneys and being more aggressive you know and unsure about other supps apart from whey. So yeah what can you recommend?

Yeah but it is so true about the kitchen!

Gonna give that extreme stuff a go.

I accidentally on purpose (lol) just bought some USN/Sci MX Lean Grow MRF Protein [2kg] for about £20. So I'll see what that's like.

Also after workout I do protein with water, does it matter how much I use? Some days I use a little bit of water just to get it down as fast as possible and some days I just have a lot of water to take away the taste, and stop myself from gagging from teh thickness!

Don't worry about the amount of water as it is of negligible nutritional value even though its essential for human life.

Cool so it doesn't have any effect if the protein is thick or thin as long as it gets in ya!

Extreme are you any relation to Sir Richard Attenborough.Your sweet words are like pouring warm honey in my ears! That was straight from the Discovery channel.

I don't like my shakes thick like plasterers muck Wilto so i spread them out thinly over a longer period rather than try to swallow them whole!

Yeah know what your saying Gazz.

Man just got the Sci Max MRF Growth stuff and boy is that stuff thick.

Did 1.5 scoop, recommended 2 scoops per serving.

Filled the shaker 50% with milk and it was waaaay to thick to drink, topped it up to 75% with water and still too thick and now it's rammed full and it's still thick but just about drinkable.

Maybe I'll just do it with water at all times!

Not related to Sir Richard Attenborough, often likened to Richard Head though, I'm not sure of his accomplishments to be honest.

No don't do that!Just transfer it into something bigger like an empty plastic Milk bottle and thin it down until you can handle it.It'll keep in the fridge alright for the rest of the day, just shake and drink as and when.Don't chuck your protein, crazy fool, lol.
