Default Nitric Oxide recommendations/opinions?

I have been researching some supplements after getting advice from some of you guys (thanks Cal & Splinter) and have come across numerous Nitric Oxide products. What are peoples opinions of these and which brands are recommended?

Cheers

Chalky

Was looking for something to give me a bit more physical stimulation for the workout phase (think Redbull for the gym). Am I right in thinking Nitric Oxide would be the right product?

This product is shown to work and if you are looking for better pumps then yeah why not.

However, I deem it as a bit too expensive to be worth the bother! If you train hard enough you'll get the pumps you need.

BSN NO-xplode is the most popular form of this supplement.

It does contain creatine ethyl esther which has extreme has stated on another thread creates creatinine which is a by product of creatine. In turn causing upset kidneys in some people.

If I were you chalky.

Go on kre-alk, me and cal both are and really like the stuff.

Use whey protein, use a good carb source for pwo shakes. maltodextrin/dextrose/waxy maize starch etc...

But get yourself some rhodiola rosea as well its top notch for helping with concentration levels and preventing fatigue. I recommend a dose between 700-1000mg a day. And not too late at night as you may be starring at the ceiling for a bit.

Unless you are planning on using the NO product in combination with some muscle fascia stretching, you are essentially just paying for vainity - as the increased vascularity and pumps won't last very long.

If you want something to get you pysched before a workout - then listen to 'uplifting' music (Metal/Dance etc) (music has been shown to increase Adrenaline production, which in turn can increase strength/focus) and have a strong coffee about 30mins before your workout.
