I don't think hydrolysed whey is that good, its too quickly absorbed in the gut and is passed through the system too fast for the bloodstream to pick up to carry to your muscles and so gets passed out in your urine.

If there was some proof on that point id like to see it.

A previous study or something

I mean is that almost like saying dextrose powder is digested too quickly and therefore just ends up in your urine, (which obviously isn't the case as this is only seen in diabetes)

The studies were done on whey isolate and hydrolised whey is absorbed even faster so the time for absorbtion is even less. Whey has also been proven to exibit an effect on insulin secretion due to its speed in passing through the system.

The comparison with dextrose is pointless because of the way dextrose/sugars are stored in the body and the way protein is stored in the body BUT dextrose can be traced in the urine of non diabetics too hence the reason for a urine test for tri-glycerides.

I can't tell you where I read this information, I read a lot of stuff and over the years have lost much of it in pc crashes or saved it on some disc or other but I'm not great at storing things so I can paste them to justify what I say on forums, I don't cut and paste what people on other forums write either because I;
(A) can't be ar5ed with looking at forums all night
(B) don't pay heed to most forum members because I don't know where their info came from and if its accurate or not.

I'm sorry if you doubt what I say Splinter but I don't go in for speculation or heresay, I read the article on isolate sometime in the last few years but honestly cannot say where.
