Keep your protein high and don't go too mad on takeaways - but you need to get eating, and then eat some more and then eat even more. Now - lets be honest about this - either you aint eating enough now or you have an uber fast metabolism, so by eating everything in site you will put some fat on. However if you are working out properly, and I mean flat out, with the appropriate recovery you will start to grow and pack some mass on. When I was younger I had a number of growth spurts during which my body was telling me to eat everything in site. For example I used to have 8 weetabix with milk for breakfast and then another 8 for my 'supper'. On a saturday I used to play football and after football I'd come home and make up some pasta and in one sitting I'd eat about 750g dry weight of pasta, 3 packets of colemans cheese sauce made with a few pints of milk with about 400g of grated cheese mixed in. Before football about about 11am or whatever I'd eat pretty much a loaf of bread to myself with a large tin (750g?) of tomato soup. I mean that was years ago (10+?) but my body needed it during a growth spurt. So I mean you can eat clean to bulk up and it will work, but it won't be as easy. Dirty bulking involves more carbs and fats and the food is junk nutritionally really but if you are that light you just need to get eating. I'd never really advise anyone to dirty bulk mate but you may find it easier. Sorry about the ramble lol! |
