So eating a boiled egg as a snack would be just as good. Seems an egg would be far more cost effective, you can always bol a couple the night before.

Surely you would have to eat a number of eggs to get the same protein levels as a shake? I eat eggs as a snack a lot actually....bump the calories up a bit like.

if you get 50g protein from a shake, the equivalent from eggs would mean you chugging down 16 egg whites no yolks.

Ah, i think when writing down contents of different foods i made a mistak on that one then, i had the value higher. My mistake. Ill just buy shakes

Convenience, taste, cost would be 3 of the obvious ones that spring to my mind.

A well chosen protein powder gives you all 22 amino acids that you need, whole eggs are the only other thing that does that. The negatives for eggs are cholestorol, fat content and they need cooked.
