Some people are fine with creatine monohydrate which is the cheapest version, if buying monohydrate all I'll say is go for a reputable company. As a supplement company owner I can tell you we are able to buy different grades of purity, ours is 99.85% pure by HPLC testing, some companies claim over 100% purity which is just bullsh1t. How can anything be more than 100% pure? Its another scam used by some companies to trick the end buyer. I don't think its possible to get 100% purity because we have tried different manufacturers and have never found any at 100%. Why is the purity level so important? The less pure varients still have a lot of heavy minerals attached and are the worst causes bad water retention, cramps and stomach upset. There are many people who cannot use any form of creatine monohydrate bcos they get the bloating, water retention, cramps and the sh1ts due to them having sensitive stomachs, woman more so than men. Now moving to the "new" forms of creatine, first we'll look at creatine ethyl ester, this is creatine monohydrate reacted with a strong acid and an alcohol - ethanol. This is where the problem with CEE, CE2, CRE or any other form of creatine ethyl ester arises, when you react creatine with ANY form of acid the conversion into creatinine begins. Esterification is used in the medical world to ensure certain medicines make it thru the gut to the bloodstream so it is a bona fide procedure but when using it on creatine you are corrupting a large proportion of the creatine monohydrate undergoing esterification allowing it to become creatinine. I think a large proportion of the esterified creatine makes it thru to the bloodstream still as "real" creatine BUT there is the part that has become creatinine during the esterification process, which to me means CEE is not a viable option. IMPORTANT - IF YOU FOLLOW A RELIGION WHICH DOES NOT ALLOW ALCOHOL YOU ARE EFFECTIVELY SINNING BY USING CREATINE ETHYL ESTER! Extreme Nutrition recently released Kr-Evolution which is creatine monohydrate buffered with alkali which will be cancelled out by the stomach acids as it travels through the gut, still making it through to your bloodstream intact as creatine. We tested this product over 18 months on natural bodybuilders, MMA world champs, an IFBB Pro, top level amateur bodybuilders, recreational runners and regular guys who attend the gym and we had blistering results. NOBODY had water retention, nobody had cramps or bloating, Miss Universe Malika Zitouni, Miss N. Ireland Andi Black, Miss BNBF Figure Jo Fairbairn, NABBA/BNBF/UKBFF Jnr Mr. Scotland Andy Chappell and ex IFBB Pro Paul George all used Kr-Evolution right up to and on the day of their contests and all won in ripped to bits conditions. I have studied the science on creatines in depth, I can supply much lower grade cheap creatine monohydrate than I do and I could also have brought CEE to the table for MUCH less money than it cost us to produce Kr-Evolution but I think the science in ethyl ester, creatine malate, creatine AKG is fundamentally flawed no matter what MTech, BSN, etc have to say. I'll add Kr-Evolution to my shooping list when I next order my supps. Thanks for the detailed post. |

But anyway im gonna try this stuff out I always get amazing results with Celltech so dont wanna give it up but i do wanna try your product. IM currently not taking any creatine atm but going to start my next cycle of Methyl-Drol next week and will start taking Celltech next week, but i cant afford to not maximize gain by swaping celltech for Kr-Evolution so would rather if possible take them both, maybe in smaller doses. EDIT: Just browsed the shop site and noticed these come as caps so im gonna take both Last edited by td3; 18-06-2007 at 02:58 AM. |

BUT i have recently been using extremes KRE-VOLUTION and can say hand on heart i am very impressed... ive spoke to a few people who have used it and all have had excellent results. i train with 2 friends.. 1 who like me competes (and obv takes more than just supps) and another who doesnt and does not want to go down the drugs route... so i reccomended this to him... he trains really hard anyways.. but recently hes been using this and sticking to a good bulking diet.. and people keep asking me what hes taking!! id reccomend the stuff to anyone! ______________________ If your not a part of the greatest... you got to be the greatest yourself! One of Kr-Evolutions big advantages is you don't need to take a lot for your body to reach saturation point. If the human body can hold 5g of creatine (on particularly large or heavily muscled people it may be 6g) after supplementation and it regularly holds 2g (approximate but fact) you can only add an additional 3g. 4 Kr-Evolution caps gives you 3g so your cell tech will be wasted other than the creatinine, which some of it converts to when mixed, which will cause sub q water retention and possibly make you heavier and bulkier which many guys are looking to achieve anyway. If the science behind cell tech was so good and MTech were not just a cash collecting machine why do they have 10g of creatine monohydrate per serving? I mean if a small company like Extreme can do its research and know about creatines saturation levels then surely MTechs boffins will know this too? So why are the will fully overloading you with creatine? I'll tell you why, because a large chunk of it converts to creatinine and the only way to get your body to reach saturation is by getting you to take large amounts of innefficient creatine. Why are you buying Cell Tech? Its way over priced. In a 1kg tub there is only 200g of creatine and the tub is £30, we sell 750g of creatine monohydrate to Musclechat members for £17 inc delivery! Add some dextrose and glucose and its job done. ______________________ www.extremenutrition.co.uk - 25% OFF FOR ALL MC MEMBERS, discount code MCD25. www.betterbodies.uk.com Seriously cheap sports nutrition! Thats sort of what celltech does to me, but the sides are harsh and trying to drink it everyday is abit to much tbh. Ive got 2 unopened tubs of CT i need to use up but ill be adding Kr-Evolution to my supps also thanks. |
