looking for supp for wife from extreme

Ok so after my progain thread i must admit that i am leaning towards xtreme nutrition for my supps instead of maximuscle.

We were going to place order tonight for my wife with maximuscle.
Promax diet, is good for females but its £40 per tub and only last 7 days.
with all the food bills, my supps and the other stuff we simply cant afford that right now.
So after looking at xtreme products they look better than maximuscle and better priced. But we are confused as to what she can use.
Just really looking for a protein drink which she can use as a meal replacement in the mornings and once during the day.
Im not sure which xtreme product would be best.

when you say about 80 servings, is it seriously around that amount?.

The Extreme meal replacement comes in 2 flavours strawberry and chocolate each tub is 2160g and each serving is 72g therefore 30 servings per tub. There is 295 calories per meal containing 41.8g protein, 20g of starchy carbs and 2 g of sugars. So all in all its a nutritious shake high in protein and moderate in carbs.

How exactly does one get 72g!
The Extreme scoop is 75ml which is about 28grams.

I'd tried to post an answer to your enquiry a few days ago Shamrock but the site kept telling me I didn't have the right to reply!

I would recommend the Performance Meal Rep for your good lady bcos she can choose how much she wants in a serving quite easily bcos its in a tub. She can also alter the serving size if she's been training too.

This is the problem with scoops! If you are using level scoops or heaped ones, a level scoop is around 25g but a heaped one can be nearer 40g, also powder density can effect the actual weight in the scoop too (i.e. how hard packed the powder is in the scoop).

I've weighed 2 heaped scoops and got the 72g serving ok, I guess for anyone who wants to know how accurate their servings are should at some point weigh their interpretation of a scoop.

I think typical bodybuilders would be more likely to go for a heaped scoop, its in the nature of the beast to go for the more is better option - well it always was for me when I was seriously bodybuilding but I do admit to being a greedy MF.
