Default maximuscle v extreme protein

ive been training for 2 1/2 years now without using any protein powders and tbh i do find most of the threads about them amusing cos it it seems peeps think theyre the answer to why theyre not putting on muscle, but i`m digressing towards another brawny thread!
as i`m in training for this competition i thought i`d give some of extremes whey protein a go.
now i have used maximuscle powders maybe 5 years ago-lol i used them a lot!
so i to be fair its not a totally fair comparison cos i havent tried maximuscles current offering, but i think i got enuff experience to be able to make a fair critique.

well flavour wise theres nothing in it extreme tastes exactly as i remembered the MM powder to be and it mixed up exactly the same too-
total liquid and no smeg in the bottom.
i do find nowadays that my taste buds have changed and i dont like sweet foods-i don`t use sugar in anything and i found it tasted much nicer in water than milk-which i thought was shame tbh,but anyone with a sweet tooth would love it.
its going to be intersting to see how noticable the benfits of using whey are for recovery given that i`ve managed fine in the past-albeit training once every 4 day.
i`ve been getting heavy legs recently due to an increase in walking-
so i`m not expecting to train a day early, but i`m hoping the whey prevents this happening.
yet again i am using extremes whey which doesnt have all the added aminos of MM,but i`d imagine his powder which has all the added aminos is just as good,if the whey i`ve tried or creatine is that ive used in the past(just as good as MM again)is anything to go by.
i tried extremes performance mass yesterday preworkout and i gotta say it fuelled my workout far better than my oats, nana and milk usually does(tuna before that)
its normal for me to be wicked hungry halfway thru!
main point of me doing this thread is cos of the circular thinking peeps get into over which powder they should have-reading all the macronutrients and trying to workout which is best for growth and all that old honk
i`m not saying extremes protein is the best, but i would say it`s equal to the best out there at a far cheaper price.

i`ll keep y`all updated to how it goes.

I've got this horrible feeling you're gonna tell us that some nice young Ohio cowgirl is currently rounding upthe cattle in a sexy pair of the Preacherman's lidl loungepants.

If not, what the hell are your shorts doing in Ohio.Did they fly economy? Are they on an excahnge trip with a pair of bemudas?

We need to know

I'm going to start taking exteme supplements too. Build and recover after workouts and one in the morning (with water), pre workout (with water) and night (with milk)? Is extreme protein ok for this?

it`ll be fine with milk-too sweet for me tho,but then i find bananas and oats sweet

i guess ohio woman hated my shorts more than you lot,
but she had to do strange things for me to get them hahahahahahaha.

competition is at a new board called shamrock muscle.
$1200 in supps or gear over 2 years
and luckily for me-not many other entrants.
unfortunately theres a 300lb monster who been allowed to enter late, but then its for most progress shown not end result.
so actually newbies stand a very good chance(pmsl@bully)
Board Message
(link to comp)

unfortunately it does look like one of the judges might be a bit anti cal-but we can deal we that

mornings and after training you want build and recover

before training personally id say performance whey is best as is faster acting so into your system better. altho if you only want to buy one then extreme protein is ok

at bedtime or if having as a protein source as a meal then extreme protein is best suited here.

hope this helps
