Default Back Probs/Creatine

Hey all,

Im having some problems. I am getting some weird pains in my lower back. Around the kidney sort of area. but get this - Its really sore on the left side when i move or turn quickly(especially when in bed). and on the right side i seem to get a strange Vibrating feeling every so often that lasts for no longer than a second or 2. Its all really strange and im quite worried. Its been going on for about a week.

Now the thing i havent mentioned is that i take creatine. I use Met-Rx Micronized Creatine. I take 1 teaspoon full in the Morning and the same again after training.

Ive been on it since about the 2nd January continuesly!

What do you lot reckons wrong.

Serious answers only please

Many thanks

Well none of us are doctors so it would be irresponsible to suggest what might be wrong with you but common sense dictates if you are having kidney pains and using creatine - stop the creatine and see if they go away.

as zara says... stop the creatine see what happens... it could just be water retention brought on by the creatine!

it could be your kidneys are working hard to flush any excess out of your system... do you drink much water? you need to drink more water to help flush excess out.. vitamin c will help also! do you drink much alcohol? this will not help either!

a teaspoon full right?

Weird how i am getting back pains from it. Ive been told by someone that if you get lower back pain from taking creatine you should come off it for abit else you could cause damage!
