Default Vitargo, waxy maisy starch, opinions?

does anyone here use vitargo? or have any opinions on how good a product it is?

i used it last year in the run up to my shows and found it worked very well, but was a little pricey.

also myprotein seem to have their own product out now simply called waxy maisy starch which is supposed to be the same thing. does anyone have any experiences of this?

am considering using this again as technically, when used post training it is supposed to be a much more effective way of replenishing muscle glycogen stores than dextrose/maltodextrin. It also doesnt cause as much stomach bloat, which is always nice whilst dieting!

I've heard from razG that waxy maize starch is highly regarded and effectively super-high GI. he reads a lot into things so i trust him

no didnt use it to carb load, just as a post workout source of high gi carbs. and for brekfast occasionally when i was running late!

i didnt carb load at all this year, i took advice from Ian Morrgan, and he didnt have any of the lads from his gym carb load this year (well one took it upon himself to try sh*tloading - it worked well.. he looked sh*t!! lol)... basically if your ready a couple of weeks out and getting good pumps. then technically all that is needed is to keep eating the same and dry out correctly! jut a few extra carbs the night before and morning of the show to aid things, but not many at all!
