I tried 2 bottles of their Meltdown product after seeing it plugged on Muscletalk and how a few guys said it was awesome. I tried it and nothing, I doubled the dose and still nothing.

When I posted this in the Metltdown thread the Designer Supps rep said you sometimes need to increae the dose by 50% if your not reacting to them when I said I'd doubled the dose he dai it must be ny diet or training to blame because he reconed Meltdown worked on everyone.

I don't know about the other 2 but I was't impressed by them.

I've read great reviews, tried them thought they were shit. Both meltdown and basic cuts. Not tried either of the two you mention.

At the end of the day I think all otc supps that claim to work miracles are a complete waste of money.

Whey Protein
creatine
some sort of omega 3 6 9 blend
vitamins

And thats pretty much it. There are some great products for specific purposes like dextrose, fibrix, and all general health products especially joint products for us bodybuilders but save your money mate.

For one of very few occaisions I agree with YG 110%!

You'll notice its only American companies who ever claim to have discovered the "wonder supplement" or anything "better than steroids" because they don't have the advertising legislation covering UK companies.

We can't show you a pro bodybuilder in an offseason clean picture with no tan then say "after 12 weeks using Product X" and show you a picture of him a few weeks out from a show with his body hair removed, tanned up, full of gear and gh but still at the healthy looking stage before his bodyfat levels are too low and he's looking drawn and tired.

Look at pretty much every UK Muscletech advert they feature all their guys but in american mags they are still able to show the before and after pictures which we all know aren't possible on protein and creatine alone.

My god !

i'm gonna have to agree i'm afraid.

If your looking for something to keep you interested in the OTC market, maybe go for a NO product, you'll 'feel' like you are bigger, which will cure your boredom, but don't expect any amazing muscle growth.

I've got to say I think NO2/pump enducing products could be counterproductive to building muscle.

I know I could be out on a limb a little here but there is NO scientific research to show them assisting in tissue growth other than them enabling your to cells to volumise quicker as you train.

You may think "great, hit the gym do a few sets and then out as I'm pumped to fcuk". But if you didn't have this volumiser you would have done more sets or possibly lifted more weight and broken down more fibres as your pump came naturally through hard work.

I'm fully aware about the claims it helps stretch the fascia around the muscle but quite frankly I'm not wearing that, breaking down the fibres is what causes growth not an argignine/stimulant based drink.

With regards to Ronnie Coleman and BSN products, did anyone ever see him use anything by them in any of his videos? No, because he had 6 Olympias under his belt by the time they sponsored him and lets be blunt, he was at his all time best BEFORE being a BSN athlete!

They pay him to say its the secret to his success so his testament means nothing.

Well pigs flew in this thread.

but anyway I hope no one seriously thinks Big Ron got that way from BSN. I've tried NO too felt great in the gym did **** all overall.

Anymore supplement reviews anyone? I have tons. Most end with the last part of the above line.

(From being naive and having quite a bit of spare money at the time)

Products I have tried and would honestly reccomend for improvements (not health, pct etc..) are pretty few and far between
