Smile Hope this helps you,,,,,

You can take whey anytime of the day,,,It doesn't really matter when u have it,,,,,,Creatine i would recommend 1 hour before workout and 1 hour after workout for maximum results...You can take it with fruit juice,,,,

For good results with your Whey take as soon as possible after training mate, they say the 15 minute window of opportunity, however its not that precise. Take your creatine any time and be carful not to overload as you will just wast it, you will not need more than 3-5g try to take with some kind of simple carbs or maltodextrin

I'd say have your creatine at breakfast and post workout, the 2 times in a day the body is most receptive to receiving nutrients.

Don't have it with fruit juice, that's a low GI carbohydrate, you want to take it with dextrose or glucose which are higher GI carbs the reason for this is because they cause an insulin release and this is what shuttles the creatine into the muscle cells.

when you say dextrose and glucose-could you use plain sugar?

im guessing lucozade would do? if dextrose or maltodexrin were not to hand.

further question for extreme:

is there an optimal amount of high GI carbs to take in along with creatine?
