| Making Progress | I agree with above, thats pretty much what i use, scoop of whey, pint of milk, 50g oats and a banana. Maybe a spoonful of peanut butter too. Its real food and full of clean calories. An excellent cheap way to get more calories in if u cant handle too much solid food. |

MANY weight gain shakes just give you alot of calories in the form of poor carbs and they can also use sub standard protein in them too to keep the price down! ______________________ If your not a part of the greatest... you got to be the greatest yourself! | Legend Join Date: Sep 2004 Posts: 688 Rep Power: ![]() | I used this last year and as per all MRP & weight gainers, they are only there as a back up if you are short on time to eat. This product is okay taste wise but I'd advise against mixing it as instructed on the packaging as it is thick as hell and you'd need a spoon to eat it and as already stated, your body can only absorb so much at a time, the rest may well be stored up as fat. |

There was a good Post by Doug (Extreme) a while ago about the poor protein content of this product. Sorry I haven't got the time but have a look. Its basically ridiculously high sugars and very low protein per 100g. | |
