Default Is 'ON Serious Mass' any good??

In another post someone said it is a big mass builder, which i think would be good, as im trying to bulk up!

Has anyone tried it before or heard anything about it?

Thanks.

Nick.

it is just like all other mass drinks full of calories....i personelly don't like these drinks as their is only a certain amount of calories your body will absorb in one sitting and the number is diffrent for each of us....in my opinion a decent blended protein drink with added peanut butter and a banana or mixed with Oats is as good as any off the shelf mass drink

I agree with above, thats pretty much what i use, scoop of whey, pint of milk, 50g oats and a banana. Maybe a spoonful of peanut butter too.

Its real food and full of clean calories.

An excellent cheap way to get more calories in if u cant handle too much solid food.

dont quote me on this, BUT theres also probably alot more useful nutrients in the shakes the lads have just suggested i.e. healthy fats, vitamins & minerals from fruit etc...

MANY weight gain shakes just give you alot of calories in the form of poor carbs and they can also use sub standard protein in them too to keep the price down!

I used this last year and as per all MRP & weight gainers, they are only there as a back up if you are short on time to eat. This product is okay taste wise but I'd advise against mixing it as instructed on the packaging as it is thick as hell and you'd need a spoon to eat it and as already stated, your body can only absorb so much at a time, the rest may well be stored up as fat.

No. To keep it plain and simple. Its crap.

There was a good Post by Doug (Extreme) a while ago about the poor protein content of this product. Sorry I haven't got the time but have a look. Its basically ridiculously high sugars and very low protein per 100g.
