Default Extreme Creatine

Hello,
Just wondered if there is a need to take a break from taking Extreme Creatine?
As some brands say do 8 weeks on, 4 weeks off cycle. Is this the case or can you just take the 3-5g daily plus a 3-5g after training without a break?

Cheers

Merry Xmas

At the moment I am taking about 5g a day everyday and don't plan to take a break from it. I don't take it after training as I am taking the Build and Recover which contains a serving of a creatine as well and is the best tasting PWO shake I have had.

OK guys here's some facts;
Kit - Extreme Nutrition DO NOT advise a loading period, we know its crap.
Creatine is not addictive
Creatine is naturally occurring in the body so doesn't cause shutdowns etc
Creatine is used as energy in EVERY muscular contraction
Creatine can amplify the occurence of muscle tears if not properly hydrated
Creatine is not toxic to the body if it is a reputable pure brand (our lowest HPLC test was 99.8%)

So the answer is you don't need to cycle it, just don't tke too much.

Thanks for all the feedback.

I'll stick to 5g in the morning and 5g after a workout.

Cheers

Rocks, I'd advise you to try 3g twice daily initially and see how you get on.

The human body can only hold approx 5gr of creatine and it holds 2+(ish)g anyway so you can only really add 3gr more so 10gr daily means your toilet bowl gets plenty too - for free!

Make sure you drink at least 2 litres more water DAILY than normal and try to have a simple carb with your creatine (Glucose, Dextrose or such like).

There's no point in steaming in with a big dose when you may get the same result using less.
