Default Problems taking protein

Hi guys, I'm trying to bulk up but While going to the gym I'm finding it hard to take protein shakes and other supplements. I've tried 2 types of shakes and also taking BCAA's and creatine in tablets form but I just feel sick almost immediately and bloated n basically f*****d (excuse the language) Any ideas or should I maybe just give them a miss. Was wanting to take them to get the best gains I can, will I seriously hamper what I achieve?
Thanks guys

P.S I find in the gym I get a really funny feeling, shakey like, and sometimes leads to feeling or being sick. Is that normal or maybe to do with energy levels or something? I know if I push it hard I mght be sick but still.

hey dude the sick feeling is cos you havent eaten enuff preworkout-
what brands were you using?
powders arent necessary to grow-but do help.
i havent used any thing but whole food for 18 months.

Spot on shaking I find is due to lack of carbs ie sufficient energy. Like for example if you take dextrose immediately pre workout they stop.

Also shakes will help and they have a purpose but they are supplements to 'supplement' your diet. They certainly won't be the difference between winning and losing so to speak.

I have Schwartz and EAS but both have the same effect, I even tried different flavours. What kind of gains or physique do you have from just food? Any pics on here?

Dude i have 3 MRP's a day in between my 3 main meals as there is no way i can eat 6 good clean meals a day, it's never gonna happen and there are lot of people like the great Paul Goerge who could not eat 6 clean good meals a day so in some cases supplimentation is essential.

However, it's all down to cost each sachet costs around £1.50 which is cheaper than cookeing a meal. So thats £4.50 pd on MRP's, plus 2 scoops of whey in the morning and 2 scoops of slow releasing whey at nght b4 bed.

Im making my best ever gains and looking the best ive ever looked.

I think most meals can be done for less than 1.50 in all honestly. 1 bag asda chicken 1.4kg is £4.20.

1.4 into 150g is 8.5 meals so thats only 50p a meal. even taking into account water weight its at most 65p. Then carbs are cheap as shit, god knows how much per meal brown rice is in bulk maybe 10p. Through in some olive oil maybe another 15p so top end £1 and much better nutritionally if you can manage it.

I find eating hard though but I just force feed myself by drinking water with all food. I think Cal used to do the same thing with tuna its the easiest way.

Crazycal.....at last, the old Avatar is back ..... wasn't too keen on that last one - as good as it was - i much prefer that crazycal stare "you looking at me......you looking at me??... i don't see no one else in the room?"

anyway.... I too find eating a chore. I just have to get into a good habit and get on with it. It's more of a necessity rather than a joy and as long as I don't think about it too much I'm ok. I get in to a good routine and go through the numbers.
