Default whey protein

Hi everyone. Just a quick question..
My mate has given me one of those large tubs of whey protein for me to use after my workout. Problem is the best before date is 07/2006 as he's had it for so long. Does anyone know if it will still be ok to use? Thanks

I can promise you it will be fine, a powdered supplement can only go off once mixed, a meal rep may lose some of its mineral value but actual carb/fat/protein content will not alter.
